a very cool 3 days spent in Tokyo!
Tokyo is crazy! Spent lots of time riding bikes round (bikes are the best way to explore!), exploring & getting lost!
The area Mandy lives (Koto-ku) is not touristy, so I guess I saw some of the 'real' Tokyo also.

jimiT > space is limited in Tokyo, so they build "up". There's probably muliple levels of Metro trains below here.

jimiT > Mandy's tiny bling apartment. 'kitchen' bench on the right, bathroom on the left (complete with heated toilet seat). Its all outta wack, the basins were too big (think laundry-tub-size in the bathroom), the rest was too small. although it does have a balcony which is a bonus.

jimiT > a walkman exhibition in the Sony building (Ginza). Not quite sure what it was all about.

jimiT > a single-speed courier bike, Tokyo-style
